OK what can we draw from this? Well first off, the 8th overall pick in the past years hasn't been a position where great players have been selected. Derrick Harvey and Jamaal Anderson are complete busts. Eugene Monroe is solid, Donte Whitner is a tackling machine but liability in coverage, and Rolando McClain failed to really impress me in his rookie year considering how high he was selected. The second thing we can draw from this is that quality players can be found in the beginning of the second round especially o-linemen.
